will friday 11 be ok at fairford?

hi, i wanted to go to fairford on sat but cant make it, what day do most aircraft fly in? a couple of years ago, we camped in a campsite under the approach. that was like an airshow in itself!!! i was thinking about going friday morning and trying to see some of the aircraft arrive, then going to the airshow sat but i’ll have to leave early as i’m in a band and we have a benefit gig sat night. does this sound like a good idea? cheers, glen
