I was reading up on various variants of the Blackhawk (my favorite bird) and came across this

This is a YEH-60B SOTAS or Stand-Off Target Acquisition System. Its role was very similar to JSTARS in the way of being designed to detect small targets on the battlefield and downlink the combat information to various army units, much like JSTARS (hence the Stand-Off designation). Eventually the USAF absorbed this technology and greatly improved apon it which eventually became JSTARS (Joint-Surveillance and Target Attack Radar System).
Apparently only one YEH-60B was made.
