The Hawk must be one of the most successful trainers – and most successful UK aviation export stories – in the last several decades. Am I right in thinking it now has over 1000 sales?
On the other hand, the airframe design is now, similarly, decades old. Is it coming to the end of its natural or is there still life in the old dog?
