Warthog as a fighter?

I know the Warthog high superior maneuverability at low speed and low altitude but how does it fair in A2A combat against other modern fighters?

I realise the 30mm canon would make mincemeat of any aircraft that were to cross it, its high survivability would give it (several?) second chances and its 10 hardpoints give it many shots at the enemy ‘plane but can the airframe put all this together and down the airborne opposition?
