The Al41F needs an overhaul every 1500 hours at a cost of USD 200K (with minor maintenance every 500 hours at USD 50K each).
Unlike the Al31F, trashed after 1500 hours, the Al41F has a total maintenance/spares cost during its lifetime of approx USD700K.
+ half price of western engines
