Why the PLANAF JH-7A never equip with IFR probe just like the J-8IID.
JH-7A with Sprey Turbofan plus drop-tank and In-flight refuelling will give them a awesome range and strike distance against opponent fleet or bases??
Plus JH-7A had just enter mass production period and many configuration and specs are more or less matured and adding a IFR probe will seems logical and pratical since JH-7A seems caplable of carrying out PGM strike with YJ Anti-ship missiles series and indigenous guided bomb…
