Su-35 – What's become of it?

For a while now, I’ve been hearing relatively little of the Su-35 and it’s fanboy dream cousin, the Su-37. Sukhoi seems fit to press on with the Su-30MK series for exports; despite this, I have repeately read of continuing interest in the Su-35 from other customers.

What is the state of the Su-35 program? Furthermore, since a few customers are apparently still interested in the Su-35 and it’s variants, what does the Su-35 have that the Su-30 doesn’t already have? The Su-30 already incorporates many technologies from the Su-35 (and Su-37) and then some; What are the advantages, if any, of the Super Flanker over the Su-30?
