I’ve only found one or two photos of the Iraqi AF’s first F1EQ-5s delivered by Dassault in the dark grey maritime scheme. None show Iraqi AF tirangle insignias on the fuselage or flags on the tails — just the four-digit a/c number on the nose. No photos I’ve seen give a clear shot of the wings. These may have been pre-delivery shots
Question: in service, were triangles and flags added? If so, what positions on the wings (i.e., 4 positions or just opposite wings/sides)?
Finally, can anyone comment on the same questions for the 5 Super Etendards leased from Dassault prior to delivery of the F1s?
Thanks.
