Brits short of airpower in Afghanistan

I don’t think this was particularly unexpected, they have been running on short numbers for most things in recent years

I guess this once again highlights the shortage of transport helicopters the British army has, due to it trying to run two major operations at once. This problem has been mentioned on these pages quite a bit lately. I think its time the government got the cheque book out before they get a bloody nose.
They should stop trying to do these things on the cheap 🙁
