Australia adds 34 more MRH-90s.

CANBERRA – Eurocopter has gained a large order frmo the Australian ministry of defence for 34 MRH-90s. The contract was signed in Canberra by the Australian Defence Materiel Organisation and Australian Aerospace, a sistercompany of Eurocopter. The order follows an earlier order for 12 MRH-90s placed in 2004.

The MRH-are to be used to transport troops and to conduct anti-terror missions. The order is valued at roughly 1,5 billion dollar. Deliveries will be made between 2007 and 2015.
