Raptor and the aim-9x

The raptor is said to get a HMS and 9x sometimes in the future however could someone discuss the following about this –

1) How would the raptor with internal 9x be able to doof boresight targeting as the weapon is inside the bay?

2) Even if we assume that the raptor opens up the bay and the 9x just hangs out there on the rail while it locks on how in the world would a 9x which is placed in the right weapons bay be able to target a fighter which is 40 degrees on the opposite ?

3) IS LOAL equally effective as a lock on before launch?
