whats happend to the albatross

what has happend to the beriev a-40, be-42 albatross.
a fantastic looking jet flying boat…there was a lot written about it a few years ago. but it seems like the aircraft has just vanished out of exsistance.
is there eny type of production underway…how meny has been built to date. is there eny in military service…
