The first Embraer ERJ-145LR (FAB2550) was delivered recently to the 1st Sqn/2nd Transport Group based at Galeão Air Base in Rio de Janeiro. To differentiate it from regular shorter-range C-99A (ERJ-145ER) this model received the id code VC-99B. A 5th C-99A (FAB 2524) was also delivered an a sixth is expected in March 2006. Also a second VC-99B could materialize if the deal to purchase one of the Embraer Prototypes is completed.
