We seem very focused on hardware in this forum and since my true interest lies in application thoery and doctrine lets open a thread for that. I think a discussion of relavent thinkers from Clausewitz and Jomini through Douhet and Trenchard up to modern thoerist such as Boyd, Warden, or soem of the studies that have come out of the Australian RAAF such as Waters would be interesting. Lets keep it limited to thoery and such and not get dragged into a hardware “my Su-27 could smoke your F-16 Block 60” blahblah crap. I do realize that we cannot ignore capablities, but I would prefer this not turn into a slugging match and stay in the realm of academia….
Anybody game?
