No CSAR with V-22

Can anyone explain?
Why don’t they use the Osprey for the only job it might actually be suited for?
I always thought speed and range are the criteria for CSAR, not so much internal volume. Looks like a job for the Osprey, I’d say.
But no, Pentagon knows better.
I don’t understand.
