The Irish Air Corps (IAC) are to shortly take delivery of two new Eurocopter EC-135 helis. These helis will be used primarily for pilot training, but will also undertake Irish Army Ranger Wing ops, Air Ambulance, SAR, and VIP transport ops.
(8 x Agusta Bell AB139’s are due to be delivered to the IAC during 2006/2007).
