Jane's All the World's Aircraft WAS Online in Korea? How/Why did this happen?

I rediscovered an old (and dead) url.

I know, it doesn’t work!

About 3-5 years ago, Hankuk Aviation University put the 99-00 editions of Jane’s All the World’s Aircraft, Aircraft Upgrades, Aero Engines, UAVs, etc, online. Yes, it was all free and publicly accessible.

How did the Koreans pull this off?

More to the point, did Janes shut it down?

Korean is all Greek to me. Korean copywrite laws are also a mystery.

Still, I have to wonder what’s hiding on the Hankuk Aviation University site?

Somehow I doubt that there are free and publically accessible Jane’s publications out there.
