I saw a Nimrod and a 4 ship formation of Tornados (GR3s presumably from Leuchars) shoot across Edinburgh this afternoon and then shoot over the airport – EDI tower was advising inbound airliners to watch out for the Nimrod at 1000 feet!!
Anyone know what this might have been in aid of?
