USAF Balloon wars

CNN reports that the USAF is testing very high altitude balloons to serve as communications and observation platforms.

I just can’t wait until we get threads on how county X balloons are better than country Y balloons, or how the US won’t share balloon technology and country X must have it’s own balloon technology or risk industrial self destruction.
