Pilot or Tactician

Not sure if this is a stupid question or not but here goes…

I was having a chat with a friend about the man machine interface on modern single seat fighters, and we got into a discussion about who would make the better ‘future’ pilots, Its highly subjective I know…

I was wondering what the Tornado crews think about retraining the Navigators to be pilots, basically is it stick and rudder men or those presently Navigating.
