RAF Leeming 12/05/05

Had a very nice afternoon at Leeming yeterday in superb weather. Some pics-

We had a full emergency declared by an F3 early in the afternoon. Savage 1,2 and 4 took off to meet their tanker however Savage 2 declared an emergency not long after takeoff saying that one of his slats had come detached on the left wing. Savage 4 accompanied him ovre teeside where he dumped fuel before he came in to land with 4 in formation with him. He fair smacked it onto the runway obviously to keep the distance he had available long as possible. Savage 4 went around and then flew off to rejoin Savage 1 to go to their tanker.
