They are not as sexy as F-X but they should be usefull 🙂 .
Brazilian government and EADS CASA signed an agreement on april 29 for 12 C-295 transport and modernization of 8 P-3 maritime patrol planes bougfht from US stocks. The contract is around 560 million euros. C-295 will serve in Amazonia replacing the few old Buffalos still in service.
I suppose the FX will not resurrect in the near future.
