Japanese Aerospace fading giant or reviving monster?

Japan is an overshadowed nation when in comes to aerospace, the nation that developed the Zero, the Ishikawajima-harima jet engines, the Kamikaze military tactics, the T-4, T-2, C-1 and now is developing the C-X new jet powered cargo aircraft and new jet powered patrol aircraft P-X, has big stakes in the Boeing B-767, B-777, Airbus Engines. Embraer 170 wing sections has been overshadowed and considered as a copycat aerospace faring nation is that it`s destiny or it is not?
The F-15, F-4, Chinook, F-104 and many others have been built under license in Japan but today the JASDF iis embarked in two importan new programs the C-X and P-X programs jet aircraft that might change Japan`s aerospce industry for ever.
