ZE694 SEA HARRIER UPDATE

As I’m sure most of you are aware, ZE694 moved from RNAS Yeovil this week to it’s new home at the Midland Air Museum, Coventry. As a member of the museum and one of the four members involved in the move of the Harrier, I thought it would be an idea to inform you of the progrees of her so far.

ZEberdee, as we have called her, is still under going reconstruction from the move. All is well and progress is swift in rebuilding her. The wing and tailplane were put back on the day she arrived at the museum, then, after slight modifications were made to the hanger doors, she was wheeled, by hand, back into the hanger where she is to remain until further notice. I myself and another member (Malcolm, Canberra WF922) have been bit by bit putting her back together. Today (Sun 20th Feb) the tailfin was put back on and all connections re-connected.

Any questions, please feel free to ask.
