French soldiers killed by air attack: how long ago?

The events in Ivory Coast were quite remarkable.
I wonder how long ago it is that French soldiers in French military service were killed in an air strike?
It may not have happened since WWII. I can only think about Lybian strikes in Chad, but I’m not sure if any French soldiers were killed by them.

If it’s been since WWII, this may have been the first time French soldiers were killed in an attack by jet aircraft. I would doubt that one of the few ground attacks by Me 262 or Arado jet bombers killed any french soldiers.

I know Me 262’s shot down some French B-26’s, but that was air to air, of course.
