Unless it’s moved on recently, it’s stored at Lochearnhead near Crief in Scotland. One of my photographs of it there was published in a prior edition of Wrecks & Relics (was it 18th Edition – haven’t got it handy at this moment). When I photographed it there it was beached not far from the seaplane harbour that’s used regularly by Cubs and Cessnas on floats. I had the landowner’s permission to access the site …the problem was that to get to the aircraft I had to cross a field of cattle in which on one side were cows whilst on the other side was a rather large bull – I had to walk between them. Rarely have I felt so vulnerable and intimidated as during that lonely walk. The things we have to do in the interests of aviation!
