The A-50 is a truly intriguing a/c…

Did it really corresponds (in its initial way) as “western” AWACS concept aircraft?…or it was a mere augmentator of the GCI/C3I net under Soviet Squemes?…

Did someone has good info about it?…I have readen very conflicting info about the radar’s range, resolution…even the number of work-stations!!!

Aerospacetech, once you mentioned in the ACIG forum you found some intersting info about it, relating that the radar’s range was not bad and only problems were in the Computers…could you expand??
