From the Sept. 1st issue of JDW, by JORIS JANSSEN LOK;
It was reported that Fokker services won the $36.9 million contract to last until 2009 that will cover maintenance and upgrades of RNLAF F-16s. This contract comes as part of the recent Pacer AMSTEL (After-Mid-life upgrade Structural Enhancement of Lifetime) programme, which is being used to enhance the service life until 2020. (Edit: Amstel lite? 🙂
Some highlights of the Pacer program;
-M3 hardware/software installation and Link 16 usability
-overhauling landing gear
-replacing cables in AN/ALR-69 RWS
