I was going through my old URL’s and I came across this, the Seamaster, America’s only attempt at making a jet flying boat for military use.

Engines: Four Allison J75-P-2 turbojet engines (P6M-2).
P6M-2 Seamaster Multi-jet attack/ reconnaissance seaplane.
4 (pilot, copilot, navigator / radio operator, flight test engineer).
Armament: Two flexible aft firing 20mm cannon in tail; rotary bomb bay capable of dispensing 30,000 lb (13,605 kg) of ordnance (bombs, mines, depth charges, nuclear)
The P6M-2 #138822 crashed near Odessa, Delaware Nov 9, 1956 due to faulty elevator jack. Crew of 4 ejected safely.
