Hmmm. Anyone know what these wingtip pods are? Its not the same as the MiG-31M one.
I know that MiG-31s were supposed to be equipped with Sorbstiya ECM pods and also a special control pod whose name I’ve forgotten which co-ordinated 3 Sorbstiya pods in group actions (1 MiG-31 had the control pod, 3 with Sorbstiya in a 4 ship flight). AFAIK, they were not deployed.
