Austrian F-5 E "Tiger II"

Next Friday, the 9th July, the first 4 austrian F-5E Tigers will fly in to the austrian airbase “Fliegerhorst Nittner” near Graz. Austria is renting 12 Swiss F-5E’s to bridge the gap between Draken and EF for the next 4 years.
The austiran government is giving out 75 Mio.EURO for renting, maintenance, (pilot and ground crew) training and petrol.
The first four qualified pilots are Oberstleutnant (Lt. Col) Georg Gappmaier, Hauptmann (Cap) Jörg Sandhofer, Hauptmann Werner Kriebitz and Hauptmann Günter Taschler.
