Sorry guys, could not resist to post this pic, when I found it in my old (paper-)archive. It’s from the german Flugrevue, issue from july 1995. The plane in the pic is wind-tunnel model of a m5,5 waverider, 2,4m long, which NASA has been testing.
Compare it with the well known drawing from Bill Sweetman’s AURORA-book from 1993, bears some similarity, doesn’t it?
