In Shlomo Aloni’s, Israeli Mirage and Nesher Aces (Aircraft of the Aces, 59), there is a chart of kills in which it is claimed that Menachem Eliyahu shot down an Egyptian Mi-4 on July 26, 1970. This was just a few days before the IAF bagged some Soviet MiG-21’s over the Sinai. Any details on this event???
