the rafale’s principal tactical A2G weapon. short-range complement to APACHE/SCALP-EG. been trying to find out more abt it, but webcrawling gives me rubbish.

so it’s back to you allknowing guys. the AASM. i do know it’s an interchangeable PGM kit with rocket boost, featuring various guidance modes like GPS/INS, IIR, TV/EO, antiradiation and something called RF search — is this referring to MMW guidance ala Brimstone and Longbow Hellfire?

range i heard is sth like 15-50km.

anyone with more background or info abt this weapon system? pls share. also comparisons with counterparts like Longshot/JDAM and Paveway IV will be appreciated.
