The subject of wind tunnels came up in connection with the Meteor missile.
Wind tunnels capable of supersonic research are a rare and expensive asset.
I wonder if we could assemble a list of supersonic wind tunnels and their location?
I presume NASA in Virginia. But who else?

What would be the highest speed attained in a wind tunnel?
