My vote goes to the F-105 “Thunder Chief” over Vietnam, namely ‘cos its the only jet which got a piece of geography named after it (Thud valley) due to the high loss of the type at this particular land mark….isn’t this also where it got the nickname “Thud” too??? :confused:
