Just something I am curious about, as the majority of u know China has been playing with the idea of a stealth fighter for some time now and I was just curious if any of u think it will match or beat the F/A-22 in any way?
I know it is a long way off, entering service after 2010 but given Chinas ability to build in bulk surely it will eventually tip the balance against US forces in the Pacific. Even if it is less capable regarding its electronics and detection systems compared to the US design, as long as its stealth design actually works won’t this mean an end to Americas dominance in the area?
Does anyone think the development of such an aircraft will ease Americas unwillingness to sell the F/A-22 to Taiwan, South Korea or Japan or
will they have to buy upgraded JSF?
