PAF Inducts H-4/H-2 AAMs

Today, Dawn Newspaper a very effective source is carrying the news of induction of H-4/H-2 AAMs in PAF

Some of it as follows :

Dec-17 : PAF has intregated the H-4 out of sight missiles in its arsanal for fighters, the incoprporation of H-4 have added capabilitiy to hit out of sight targets from distanceof up to 120 KM A lighter version of H-4 the H-2 can hit targets at 60KM.

PAF official Said” its the step towards adding BVR missiles to our arsenal”

The Indegenously produced H-4 is works of NESCOM/PMO and AWC ” the three tests last year were successfull”

Here is important part ” the H-4 have been made through indiginous efforts by modifiying the technological design of South African T-Darter BVR AAM. Till the induction of JF-17 thunder in 2006 with the provission for BVR the H-2 and H-4 could be carried by Mirage fighter jets. The H4/H-2 is said to be comparable to that of the AA-12/AA-11 and python 4 in Indian Arsenal.
