MiG-21 Lancer

Gotta love this plane…

Lancer A – Air to Ground version – single-seaters
Lancer B – Air to Ground version – two-seaters
Lancer C – Air to Air version – single-seaters

The Romanian Air Force planed to upgrade 100 MiG-21M/MF single seaters – 80 A/G versions (A), only with a M-2001 radar but able to carry a laser designator pod, and 20 A/A version (C) fitted with an M-2032 radar. Also 10 MiG-21UM two seaters have been upgraded (B) for the training role.

It can use the Python 3/4, R-550 Mk.2, R-60M/MK, Opher, Griffin, Lizard, rockets, Mk.82 bombs along with LDPs and recce pods.

Even if it is not the best air to air MiG-21 out there it is the best looking.
