F-16 block 60 vs the Eurocanards

Lets compare 3 things..

1. the aircrafts individual performances against each other

2. real life situations (meaning, factoring ground networks, awacs, data linking with each other, etc).

3. sales competition.

The Eurocanards are not that huge a gap from other 4th generation fighters (which in my opinion are the teen series, and advance fulcrum/flanker variants, and Mirage 2000).

The UAE funded Block 60 would seem to be very competitive to the Eurocanards. By the time the Block 60 is rolled out, will the Eurofighter and Rafale reach it’s full potential? Right now it’s ground abilities are lacking. The Block 60 will supposedly be able to use most of the A-G arsenal the US has.

Avionics wise it also seems pretty competitive with the AESA developed radar, that (on paper) seem to be a notch above Rafale’s ESA, and Eurofighters mechanically scanned Captor, although boht are slated to receive AMSAR, when will this happen?

Range wise it should be similar..but it’d be interesting to see how the Rafale with CFTs compares to the block 60.

Sales wise, the F-16 is already a hot seller and is in use with multiple air forces.. the Eurofighter has just entered service as well as the Rafale..but have a much smaller user base.

Anyways, you guys are the experts so lets discuss!
