The other thread got me thinking. The Mirage-2000 seems to be generally underestimated in the Strike role. When compared to aircraft of it’s class (no Flankers and Strike eagles please!) in service, it seems to come out on top.
Now how does a Mirage-2000-5Mk.II compare to say, the Rafale in the strike role? (Knowing that the Typhoon has no real air to ground role) Rather, how much difference will there be? Will it be a top notch striker for years to come or will it quickly be supplanted by others of a heavier class?
