Which is the best basic trainer aircraft in the market? And what about the best advanced trainer?

Portuguese Air Force use the Chipmunk MKII,(in the Air Force Academy). and the TB 30 Epsilon as basic trainer, and the Alpha-Jet as advanced trainer, not the best aircraft for the job…
