The future of Australia’s 36 Black Hawk helicopters is in doubt following official acknowledgement that airframe cracking is endemic, affecting almost one-third of the aircraft, and unable to be rectified.

More good news from Jane’s, this is actually another nail in the Blackhawk coffin for the ADF, they have not been impressed with them since they bought them. Can’t wait now for the NH-90 and with this problem arising, they will step up the plans to procure them. 😎
