Israel's Derby BVR AAM

Here’s some info from a 2001 issue of Jane’s Missiles and Rockets (paraphrased, not directly quoted).

Eitan Barzilai, marketing manager of Rafael’s Air To Air Directorate, stated at the Global Missiles Summit conference in London in 2001 that Derby does indeed have a datalink capability, and that the reason it was not discussed (and denied as well) when the missile was unveiled in May of 2001 is because it was still classified at that time.

How we all missed this one and wrongly managed to label Derby as a non-datalinked BVR AAM is beyond me.
