Well someone in here accused me of flaming cause of drawing comparisions between the Chinese Airforce and USAF. Well then how about one between the IAF and the Chinese Airforce.
The two have fought a war in 1962. And the Indians were pretty badly bruised in that war. Mainly because of inept political leadership than anything else. The leaders didnt let the IAF to join the war for some silly reason like escalating the conflict.
But I think the 1962 war was one of the better things to happen to the Indians because it woke them up from their pacifist slumber that leaders like Nehru had put them in. Nehru was a great leader but he was a dreamer rather than a realist.
It made the Indians build up a stronger army and that was one of the most positive outcomes of the 1962 conflict.
If it happened again today I wouldnt be surprised if the outcome was the reverse.
Now if a border conflict happened neither would be able to dedicate their whole airforce to the Indo- Chinese border cause of disturbances on other fronts.
Taking into account their respective capabilites and seeing that they would be fighting over the Himalayan tops- How do u think it would go. Specially the face of between the respective Airforces.
Now keep this clean and no flames!
