Pierrerpjc,
Sounds like your minds made up concerning Airbus, But what is the problem with the Airbus as a tanker? I’ve heard that the A-330 is probably too big. But a common thought is that the A-300 and 330’s have an issue with thier wings, ie they “ride hard” bump around alot in turbulance. or in the case of the 330 they flex alittle too much and these attributes make them less than ideal tanker candidates. Are these all misconceptions/lies spread around by Boeing/US interests to sabatoge Airbus or are there thruth to these rumors?
PS I flew 2 AR sorties last week, one KC-10, the other a 135, so don’t try to BS me, I’m really interested and look forward to any educated responces! Thanks ahead of time
