The Lyulka AL-31 and General Electric F110 series of engines are contemporary competitors with similiar rated thrust. How do they compare dimensionally, in weight, specific fuel consumption, acceleration etc?
How difficult would it be to fit a Flanker with F110, or a Tomcat with AL-31 for example?
