ND-102 … a US-German project for the Eurofighter-competition !

Here I found an interesting US-German co-operation project for a fighter competing for the final German decisions on the future “Eurofighter” … the second competing design was one from MBB !

The pictures are from an old “Flug Revue” issue (12/1982)

The design – called N/D-102 – was developed in co-operation of Northrop and Dornier !

Looks a little bit like a further development of the YF-17 :rolleyes !!

Does anyone have some more information …. engines, radar, dimensions…. ???
