Somebody mentioned on the IDF F-15 thread that the F-15 would take out the F-18E. I’m not so sure. The F-15 has only slightly more thrust. But the most realistic engagement would be an Amraam shootout from range and I figure the F-18E would take it because it has a radar signature that’s 2 or 3(??) orders of magnitude smaller than the F-15. F-18E wins. Does anyone know what the front end radar figures are for these two planes for an accurate comparison.
