Since the “India versus Pakistan ” debate seems to have hijacked the other thread, maybe it’s good to start a new thread.
So, the Marines around Khe Sanh have my vote for the mud-moving.
The best air-to-air engagements are possibly the ones that are rarely mentioned. Didn’t the Taiwanese introduce the Sidewinder into combat around 1958? That surely surprised the guys from the mainland. An added interesting detail is that these F-86’s were the USAF surplus Sabres from the Korean war. So these airframes did see quite a bit of action.
Another thing that is rarely mentioned, is what the Kuwaitis achieved on the 2nd of August 1990.
